Sai Wan Ho Civic Centre | Tears Welling Up in the Water
Description
Four short stories centered on the imagery of water depict women flushed in the heat, obscured in the mist, embracing themselves in warmth, and moving freely in the water.
Hot Pot with a Lid for Two — A mother discovers her daughter's sex toy, and the two face off in a cramped kitchen, eating from a boiling hot pot.
The Girl with No Toes — Afraid to reveal her secrets, a girl becomes insecure in love until she goes to a mountain hot spring and sneaks underwater to peek at others, each with their own unimaginable qualities.
The Rain Cloud in the Bathroom — The bathroom is like a greenhouse, filled with countless plants that surround the solitary girl at home.
The Ghost Soaking in Amniotic Fluid — Born without amniotic fluid, a pregnant woman encounters the ghost of her previous unborn child, who lingers in her womb and speaks to the new life within.
